The Women’s Legal Service Victoria website is proudly supported and powered by Melbourne digital agency Yump. As a not-for-profit organisation specialising in relationship breakdown issues and violence against women, WLSV has been providing free and confidential legal information, advice, referral and representation to women in Victoria for over 30 years.

The team at Yump helps maintain the WLSV website and its content management system, ensuring they run smoothly and provide important information about its services and projects for all Victorians with minimal down time. Yump is a digital agency based in Melbourne which specialises in creating user-centred experiences for the non-profit and public sectors in Australia. Telephone Upgrade

Women’s Legal Service will be upgrading our telephone system on Friday 23 February. We may be unable to  receive and make calls for up to four hours that day.  If your call is urgent and you are having difficulty getting through by telephone during this time, please email us at admin@womenslegal.org.au


Recruiting Legal Day Volunteers

We are accepting volunteer applications.for legal day volunteers

Volunteer work is available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday to law students. The work includes assisting our lawyers with casework, research and duty lawyer work at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.


Time's Up - Forum for Change

5 February 2018


A forum set to educate and empower individuals working in all creative industries, to be aware and take action against sexual harassment. The forum’s core purpose is to facilitate dialogue focused on solutions, with discussions on what women and men can do if they are faced with sexual harassment and ‘where to next’ ideas.

We encourage men and women to come together and be a part of this vital conversation.
