  • Understand the barriers faced by women on temporary visas experiencing family violence
  • Identify migration issues in family violence cases
  • Understand the family violence provisions and how they apply
  • Build confidence and ability to ask clients about their visa
  • Understand the process of raising a family violence claim under the family violence provisions
  • Understand and identify the evidence needed to establish a family violence exemption
  • Understand the barriers clients may face providing evidence
