Learn how trauma may impact on your client’s engagement and learn strategies for managing distressed clients and broaching discussions about traumatic events.

You will learn:

  • How traumatic events affect the brain and may affect how clients present and provide instructions
  • Strategies to interview and obtain instructions from clients impacted by trauma
  • Recognise the impact of social factors and other social disadvantage and how this might interact with trauma
  • The impacts of vicarious trauma

Online training – you will be sent a Zoom link


This training runs over 2 consecutive half days.


Day 1 – 9:30am – 1:30pm

Day 2 – 9:30am- 1:30pm
