Women’s Legal is delighted to announce that Claudia Fatone will take on the role of CEO.

The Chair of Women’s Legal Jane Welsh said the Board and staff are looking forward to working alongside Claudia to strengthen the organisation’s impact.

“Claudia’s energy and commitment to gender equality will ensure we progress the important work our team does in providing support and advocacy for women experiencing barriers to justice,” Jane said.

Claudia starts as CEO on April 11 and brings with her extensive leadership, operations, strategy and governance experience.

“As well as spending eight years leading Fitzroy Legal Services as CEO, Claudia has lead sector-development with the Federation of Community Legal Centres. More recently, Claudia managed operations at ManCave, a primary prevention-focused charity and is Respect Victoria Board Director.

“This appointment is great for Women’s Legal and the community legal sector more broadly.”
