A project to prevent work-related gendered violence
Everyone deserves to be safe, supported and respected at work.
But right now, Victoria’s legal workplaces are often unsafe for women and gender diverse people.
We’re working with Victoria’s legal sector to foster safe, fair and equitable workplaces. When we do this, we can stop sexual harassment, gender-based discrimination before it starts.
Have your say to drive change in Victoria’s legal sector workplaces for the better
Are you working in the legal sector and concerned about sexual harassment, sex discrimination and sex-based harassment?
Women’s Legal Service Victoria is seeking women and gender diverse people who are working or have worked in the legal sector to join a small working group to review guidance material for law firms to help them prevent sexual harassment.
Participation will involve attending 2 online meetings between February and April 2025. Participants will be remunerated for their time. Some prior reading before each session will be required.
Your voice is so important to shaping the way forward so that legal workplaces are safe and equal for everyone.
Join our community of practice for Occupational Health and Safety practitioners and Health and Safety Representatives
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) professionals and Health and Safety Representatives (HSR) have an important role to play in supporting their workplaces to meet new Respect@Work laws that require employers to take action to prevent sexual harassment and work-related gendered violence.
Women’s Legal is creating a community of practice to support OHS practitioners and professionals and HSRs to connect, collaborate and share how they are navigating this important change.
Why take part?
The community of practice offers you the opportunity to share insights into the information and resources require to implement prevention actions and appropriately respond to sexual harassment and other forms of work-related gendered violence.
Participation involves attending four online meetings across the year.
