Rochna Banerjee
She/Her
Rochna is a senior executive and experienced non-executive director with more than two decades of experience across finance, governance, risk management, strategy and organisational leadership. A Fellow Chartered Accountant, graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and participant in McKinsey & Company’s Mission Delivery for Board Directors program, she currently serves as Chief Operations Officer and Company Secretary at the Human Rights Law Centre.
Rochna is passionate about advancing equity and improving outcomes for women, particularly those from migrant and multicultural backgrounds. Her executive career includes leadership roles at COTA Victoria, inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence and the International Women’s Development Agency.
She brings extensive expertise in financial stewardship, governance, compliance and organisational transformation, and serves on several boards across the legal, health and community sectors. Rochna chaired the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee at Women’s Legal Service Victoria until February 2026 and continues to contribute to the organisation’s mission of advancing gender equality and access to justice.
